image4Maia “Crown” Williams is a busy woman. In addition to founding and running MECCAcon, Detroit’s newest black arts and comics convention, Maia also owns three other businesses (Amonyet Enterprises, Crown’s Royalties and Cooking Ciphers), working year round to build her entrepreneurial empire in the Motor City. Interview with Sebastian A. Jones of Stranger Comics

Jones, president of Stranger Comics, is the mastermind behind The Untamed: A Sinner’s Prayer, the dark fantasy comic which follows story of the Stranger and his bloody quest for revenge. We talked to Sebastian about his nerdy beginnings, independent comics publishing in a franchise-driven environment and his Kickstarter campaign to turn The Untamed into a hardcover graphic novel.
